Your Whole Household Range Can Come from One Factory

Air freshener sprays, dispenser refills, gels, odour eliminators, insecticides, cleaners and deodorants are made under your brand in a single plant, in aerosol, gel or liquid form, and leave labelled and palletised. What changes from one product to another is the regulation: a fragrance-only air freshener is sold with its safety data sheet, while an insecticide is a biocide and needs authorisation before it can be placed on the market.
Which Household Products Are Made Under Private Label?
Ilerspray's plant has three aerosol filling lines, one liquids line and one gel air freshener line, the same lines that make its APP brand. That lets a single manufacturer cover almost an entire household range:
| Family | Formats |
|---|---|
| Air fresheners | Spray, automatic dispenser refill, gel |
| Large spaces | Air fresheners for shops and large areas |
| Odour eliminators | Spray |
| Insecticides | Flying and crawling insects, aerosol |
| Household cleaning | Surface and multi-purpose cleaners |
| Personal care | Spray deodorants |
Aerosols are filled in aluminium or tinplate cans from 75 to 750 ml, with LPG, DME or CO₂ propellant depending on the formula.
An Insecticide Aerosol Is a Biocide
An insecticide cannot be sold on the strength of a good label alone: it is a biocidal product and, under Regulation (EU) 528/2012, it must be authorised before it is placed on the market. In Spain, information and procedures for environmental and household biocides sit with the Ministry of Health.
For your brand that means two things: start from an active substance approved for that use, and build the authorisation time into the launch schedule. Who holds the authorisation, your company or the manufacturer, is best agreed in writing at the start of the project.
And an Air Freshener?
An air freshener that only adds fragrance is not a biocide: it is made and sold with its safety data sheet and a compliant label. The line is drawn by what the label promises. If it claims to kill bacteria or viruses, the product takes on a biocidal function and falls under the same authorisation regime as an insecticide.
💡 Tip from our technical team: decide the label claims before formulating. Adding "kills 99% of bacteria" at the end changes the product's category and the whole schedule.
From Brief to First Batch
The process is the same as any contract job: feasibility in under 72 hours, samples to approve the fragrance and the spray, documentation, production, labelling and pallet. The average lead time is 6 to 10 weeks, not counting biocide authorisation when the product needs it.
Batch sizes are flexible, so a new range can start with a few items and grow in the same plant, which makes more than 12 million units a year.
